U.S. health officials continue to monitor for coronavirus cases in the United States.
More than 30 million cases have been confirmed in the U.S., according to NBC News’ count. The U.S. has averaged between 50,000 and 70,000 new cases per day since the beginning of March 2021.
There have been more than 500,000 reported deaths.
