Manchester United held an emergency board meeting to discuss Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s future on Saturday night after the team’s chastening 4-1 defeat at Watford.

With members of the board pushing for the manager to be dismissed, Joel Glazer, the co-chairman who heads the American family’s ownership, was left to decide whether to continue to stand by Solskjær.
