The all-butter cookies are scattered with sugar-coated chocolate beans, and milk and white chocolate chunks as well as half-coated in milk chocolate.

Each 200g pack comes with seven Colin the Caterpillar cookies.

The treats were shared in the Snack Reviews Facebook group and hundreds of snack fans have said they can’t wait to try them.

One user said: “Look how cute, kids will definitely want these.”

Another said: “Need to get these tomorrow.”

“I’d give these a go,” said someone else.

“Yum,” said a fourth user.

The cookies are available to buy in M&S stores or through Ocado online for the same price.

M&S makes major change to Connie the Caterpillar but fans are all saying the same thing

If you are buying them through Ocado you will need to factor in a delivery charge.

It may be cheaper to include the cookies in a weekly shop if you shop with Ocado regularly.

You can use the M&S store locator on its website to find your nearest store.

M&S previously launched Colin the Caterpillar Valentine’s day cakes and Easter cakes but Clin the Caterpillar has been through a tough past few months.

Earlier this month M&S’ iconic and original Colin variety was beaten to first place by Co-op’s Charlie the Caterpillar cake in a Which? Caterpillar taste test.

In 2021 Marks and Spencer took legal action against Aldi over the discounter’s copycat version of its Colin the Caterpillar cake called Cuthbert.

Both retailers reached a confidential agreement out of court in November 2022.

The companies have not disclosed the terms of the settlement – but both cakes will still be sold.

In other news “lush” cherry Jaffa Cakes have been spotted on the shelves in Home Bargains for just 49p.

New Twix Secret Centre Biscuits were launched in UK stores earlier this year.

The new biscuit takes the DNA of a traditional Twix bar into a handy coin-shaped biscuit.

Of course, Twix wouldn’t be Twix without the combination of caramel and biscuit covered in delicious milk chocolate.

The buttery shortcake biscuits go well with a nice cuppa as they make perfect dunking material.

How to save on your supermarket shop

THERE are plenty of ways to save on your grocery shop.

You can look out for yellow or red stickers on products, which show when they’ve been reduced.

If the food is fresh, you’ll have to eat it quickly or freeze it for another time.

Making a list should also save you money, as you’ll be less likely to make any rash purchases when you get to the supermarket.

Going own brand can be one easy way to save hundreds of pounds a year on your food bills too.

This means ditching “finest” or “luxury” products and instead going for “own” or value” type of lines.

Plenty of supermarkets run wonky veg and fruit schemes where you can get cheap prices if they’re misshapen or imperfect.

For example, Lidl runs its Waste Not scheme, offering boxes of 5kg of fruit and vegetables for just £1.50.

If you’re on a low income and a parent, you may be able to get up to £442 a year in Healthy Start vouchers to use at the supermarket too.

Plus, many councils offer supermarket vouchers as part of the Household Support Fund.
