Weighing in at up to 1.2kg and only £16.99 per kilogram, it’s a slice of luxury for a fraction of the cost.

The huge steak has been produced in the UK from British beef, reared by British Farmers selected by Lidl.

Lidl’s Deluxe Cowboy Steak is dry aged on the bone for 14 days and further matured to 21.

They recommend to simply season generously with salt and pepper or your favourite steak flavouring and pan-grill either side.

We’ve asked Lidl to confirm the total price and will update this as soon as they know.

But it’s important to note that in 2018 when Lidl previously sold this steak it cost £14.99 per kg.

We couldn’t find any other supermarket selling a steak of this size, so we were unable to compare prices.

Other supermarkets are taking a different approach to Valentine’s treats and plenty of them are doing their own Valentine’s Meal Deals.

Aldi is serving up sheart shaped garlic bread and Tesco have the perfect mini jacket potatoes if you’re looking for a side to your mega steak.

So whether you’re feeding the whole household, or having a luxury lockdown date night, it’s the perfect taste of restaurant quality.

Find your local Lidl here to pick up your own cowboy steak while stocks last.
