The majority of customers were experiencing problems with the website, while the rest were struggling at the check-out page or with the app.

The majority of the issues were stemming from London customers.

However, the issues have since been resolved.

A Just East spokesperson said: “We are aware of a brief disturbance in our operations on June 30.

“The issue has now been fixed.”

Customers went online to share their frustration at the outage.

One said: “Seeing cloudflare dns error page when trying to get to website right now.”

Another said: “I’m having this same issue as well. It only happens on Google Chrome, though.

“I was able to access the website just fine using… *shudder*… Edge, of all things.”

While one customer simply said: “Who killed JustEatUK in time for lunch?”

In February, hundreds of customers were hit by an outage, although the problem was quickly resolved.

Customers were left unable to place new orders or track their food deliveries.

A Just Eat spokesperson said anyone wanting to get in touch with them to complain or make a query about any outage should go to their website.

According to Resolver, there is no ombudsman for the restaurant sector.

This means resolving an issue around payment could only be done directly with Just Eat or through Small Claims Court.

You can do this through the Government’s online court service, the Money Claim Online (MCOL) site.
