IF you’re planning a visit to John Lewis while you’re off work during the Platinum Jubilee bank holiday weekend, be aware that opening times might vary.

This is what you need to know about John Lewis stores’ opening times during the weekend in which the UK celebrates the Queen’s 70th year on the throne.

What are the John Lewis opening times over the Platinum Jubilee bank holiday?

Luckily, John Lewis will be opening their doors to the public over the bank holiday weekend.

They told us that on June 2, and June 3, 2022, “the majority of John Lewis stores will be open from 10am till 8pm.”

On June 4 and June 5, most stores will return to working at their normal trading hours.

Is John Lewis delivering over the bank holiday?

When it comes to deliveries, John Lewis told us that Waitrose Click & Collect is available everyday.

On June 2 and June 3, 2022, they will not be making any deliveries.

John Lewis said: “This is reflected in our JL.com checkout, where these specific dates are not available for customer to select.”

So if you want to get any food delivered for the Platinum Jubilee bank holiday weekend, make sure to have it done by at least June 1, 2022.

There are only five more bank holidays left on the calendar, which are:

  • June 2 – Spring Bank Holiday
  • June 3 – Platinum Jubilee Bank Holiday
  • August 29 – Summer Bank Holiday
  • December 26 – Boxing Day
  • December 27 – Christmas Day (Substitute Day)
