Brits were baffled the scrumptious dessert had been removed from the shelves after hunting high and low.

“Where are the best Christmas Chocolate Cinnamon Tortilla Twists M&S. They are usually out by now,” asked one confused customer on X/Twitter.

A spokesperson for M&S sadly confirmed the news and replied: “Hi there, thanks for getting in touch.

“I’ve had a look and it looks like we not selling these this year, I’m afraid.

“I will make our teams aware so fingers crossed we get this back in the future.”

After news broke the limited edition was not returning this Christmas, fans expressed their fury on social media.

“M&S have discontinued their chocolate tortilla snacks, this is a disgusting betrayal of everything Christmas means,” wrote one.

It appears the axe will leave many pining for the delicious festive snack.

Another frustrated shopper added: “Thinking about how stupid I was only buying one bag of Chocolate and Cinnamon Tortilla Rolls from M&S before Christmas when they were limited edition.”

“Marks and Spencer why have you not relaunched these this year,” agreed someone else.

Meanwhile, when they were available to purchase, people shared their love for the sweet snack.

A happy customer penned: “While everyone starts eating healthily, I’m still hoovering through my Christmas snacks, M&S Cinnamon Chocolate Tortilla Rolls.

“Sounds so wrong, tastes so right.”

M&S were contacted for comment.

It comes as chocolate lovers were devastated when they discovered a favourite Milky Way treat was gone from shelves forever.

The company sparked outrage by stopping production of a popular snack – and shoppers said they’d “riot” to get it back.

Meanwhile, Cadbury also disappointed when they removed a popular Christmas treat.

The chocolate giant confirmed on X/Twitter that the Cadbury Snaps have been officially discontinued.
