Is the Post Office open on Platinum Jubilee bank holiday?
Main Post Offices in your area will not be open during the Platinum Jubilee Bank Holiday.
The Royal Mail website confirms that it will not be carrying any collection or delivery services on Thursday, June 2, 2022, and Friday, June 3, 2022.
It will resume with its operations after the short break.
However sub Post Offices near you may well still be operating if the store it is located in is open over the bank holiday weekend.
We suggest that you use the Post Office services near you tool to check the opening hours.
It will show you which Post Office or post box is nearest to you and will also provide you with opening times.
That way you avoid the hassle of going all the way to the Post Office only to find it closed.
Can I send mail over Platinum Jubilee Bank Holiday?
You can post it in a letter box but it will not be collected until normal working hours resume.
Letters are collected on Saturdays across the UK from 7am until 1.30pm.

Letters are also delivered on Saturdays, so mail will be on your doormat on June 3, 2022.
There are no collections or deliveries on Sundays.
What are the bank holiday dates for 2022?
