However, the auction house selling the home says it desperately needs to be modernised, Wales Online reported.

There is no plaster on most of the walls with bricks visible.

It also needs a full rewiring and urgently requires new plumbing.

There is a large window looking out over the amazing view at the front of the house.

The front reception leads to a dining room through an open-plan doorway.

A former brick fireplace also needs to be restored.

Downstairs, there are three rooms – a lounge, dining room and kitchen.

There is only a fridge and a freezer in the kitchen right now, and it leads to a small bathroom.

Upstairs there are three bedrooms, as well as space for a bathroom or a shower room if the new owner decided to install one.

Sean Roper from Paul Fosh Auctions said: “This is a traditional end of terrace property which requires full modernisation and this is reflected in the low guide price at auction of just £12,000.

“The house is situated in a well established residential location close to local amenities with wonderful views across the countryside and is close to the Heads of the Valleys trunk road and the Brecon Beacons National Park.

“The property could provide a great opportunity for a builder or an investor as it offers scope to refurbish and sell or for buy to let.”

The house is being sold online at the Paul Fosh Auctions’ website, and currently has a guide price of £12,000 and a minimum bid of just £8,000.

Bidding begins at noon on April 27, and ends at 5.04pm on April 29.
