A FAMOUS TikTok creator known for his housing inspections has exposed a nightmare newbuild home for all its “shocking” finishes.
The inspector, who goes by the company name of New Home Quality Control, called his latest target “horrific” and referred to whoever was responsible for the newbuild as a “tuna melt”.
The account, which has over 627k followers, travels around the UK looking at newbuild homes, sometimes praising them, but often decrying the shozzy standard of building work behind the houses.
This time he travelled to an unknown location to reveal in a TikTok video the “horrific finds” at the new build which are “snagging inspections”.
He begins his assassination of its builders with: “Back again and check out this absolute womper stomper of a find”.
The mystery man behind the account instantly finds damaged garage walls, broken slabs, gaps in doorways and a neglected loft.
He starts with admiring wall plate straps in the garage but soon sees the damage on the other side.
“Who is the absolute tuna melt that damaged all these bricks,” he says showing the smashed-up handy work.
Taking a tour of the outside, he notices a drain cover missing and the cracked patio slabs before focusing his attention on the French doors.
There is a large hole in the brickwork next to the doorframe, which “indicates either the opening is the wrong side or the doors are the wrong size – take your pick,” he says in astonishment.

Up in the attic, he finds a test bung carelessly left in the insulation and responds: “no one has checked checked the loft – great job guys”.
Armed with a measuring tool, he then exposes the wonky brickwork and claims they should have noticed the mistake and started again.
“That is ridiculous,” he explains.
The inside furnishings were not much better, and he shows how an extractor fan missing various parts was just dumped in the kitchen without being wired in or connected.
The TikToker ends by again saying: “That is ridiculous” in the video which has been watched over 562k times.
Meanwhile, in Bestwood, Nottingham, residents have been left fuming after complaining about newbuild homes that have turned their lives into a “nightmare”.
Unhappy locals claim that builders have been blocking their driveways and causing a racket and having “no respect for residents”.
Elsewhere, in a West Yorkshire estate, homeowners have described their newbuild property as a “joke house” after having to explain to guests how the glitchy toilet works.
Residents in a living in another newbuild “nightmare” in Crewe, Cheshire, have said they are terrified of using their gardens and fear their kids will get sick.
The angry homeowners are already fearing that their properties could be left worthless after developers built on potentially contaminated land.
