STEPPING inside Lego’s huge new shop in Leicester Square, I was overwhelmed by how much was going on.

To my left was a huge Harry Potter’s Gringotts Wizarding Bank made out of the iconic plastic bricks.

On the other side was James Bonds‘ Aston Martin DB5 made out of Lego too.

Excited shoppers were queuing up to have their picture taken inside the replica car.

I had a sneak peak inside the toy giant’s new store – and it claims to be the biggest retail space in the world.

It was like stepping in a giant theme park store, similar to the ones you get in America

The 805sqm shop has lots of new features across its two floors, including impressive, 3D Lego figures and buildings that celebrate the country’s heroes and history.

As a huge Harry Potter fan, I was excited to see the life-size figures of Harry, Hermione and Ron made out of Lego.

But there’s something for everyone. It’s like a mini-Legoland. You can also see a giant Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and Sherlock Holmes.

It’s clear Lego wants to create a destination for shoppers.

It hopes by creating an attraction in London’s West End that it will encourage customers to spend – but you can visit the shop for free and not buy anything.

There are loads of free activities too.

On the second floor, there’s a “play station” where kids can build whatever they like – with the help of Lego staff– and take it home for free.

There are also lots of photo opportunities and I can see kids and tourists queuing up for pictures when the shop opens tomorrow.

Of course, there’s Lego to buy too.

Prices start at around £8.99 for a small set and go all the way up to a whopping £554.99 for a 9,000 piece Lego model of the Titanic

Among the sets under a tenner are a Lego pet clinic and ambulance and mobile fashion boutique, both priced at £8.99.

Lego says it’s the largest range of products sold in one place, including some exclusive London-themed souvenirs.

Shoppers can even make their own Lego character for £10.99.

Using one of four interactive screens, customers can choose and customise an outfit for their Lego mini-me, before it is printed from a 3D printer

It takes around 10 minutes and you can pick from a ton of accessories to personalise your figure.

The new store is set to open Wednesday, August 10 and will coincide with celebrations to mark Lego’s 90th birthday.

Between the opening day and August 14, anyone who spends £120 or more will receive an exclusive Lego store set.
