It is the biggest ever house prize draw to be offered in the UK, and comes mortgage free with all stamp duty and legal fees covered.

The lucky punter will also be given £100,000 in cash to help them settle in to the dreamy abode – and is free to either live there, rent it out or sell it.

If the new owner decides to go down the rental route, local estate agents estimate they could achieve up to £14,000 a week during peak holiday seasons.

Situated in one of the most desirable waterfront locations in the country, the house provides spectacular views along the estuary as well as of the architecture of nearby Fowey and the surrounding Cornish countryside.

The property, which comes fully-furnished, is an outstanding example of modern architecture.

Designed by the highly acclaimed West Country architects Harrison Sutton, the incorporation of glass ensures the south west facing estuary views are a key feature throughout the house.

It is finished to an exceptional standard with a layout that has been meticulously designed to provide elegant, spacious areas that seamlessly flow from room-to-room.

The bright and airy entrance hall welcomes visitors inside, with an adjacent home office that provides panoramic views thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows on two sides.

The main sitting room forms the heart of the home and also features full-length glass doors that lead onto one of the terraces.

The serene space has a double-sided log fire, a cinema and snug room complete with 85in TV, which also leads out to a patio.

A state-of-the-art kitchen and breakfast room features a central island and glazed sliding doors which open onto a cantilevered balcony.

In addition to the Smallbone units and Sub-Zero appliances, there are two dishwashers, a hot water tap and a Wolf cooker with a Teppanyaki plate and griddle.

A secondary kitchen pantry sits on the other side of the hallway, next to a stylish dining room with ample space for entertaining family and friends.

A striking cantilevered staircase leads up to the first floor, where a large open landing leads to the main bedroom.

As well as a dressing room, there is a luxury en-suite bathroom with a walk in shower.

A ground floor bedroom with adjoining bathroom is accessed from the sitting room and also has access to a balcony.

LUXURY LIVING

From the sitting room, a secondary staircase leads to a guest bedroom, bathroom and shared balcony.

There are two further bedrooms with en-suite facilities on the first floor.

The lower ground floor boasts a utility room with a back door and playroom area that could be used as a seventh bedroom, again offering views of the estuary.

There is also a hobby room and an area to hang up wetsuits.

A further bedroom with en-suite shower room sits beyond this, along with additional storage space.

If that wasn’t enough, a yoga studio with its own bathroom and private terrace sits at one end of the garden with yet more stunning views.

The property is accessed via a private drive through electric gates which lead down to a parking area at the front of the house.

There are further mature gardens – and at the far end there is a seating area that is perfect for taking in the scenery.

To the front of the house, steps lead down to a concrete landing stage that provides direct water access to the property’s own mooring.

The west facing garden features a patio and lawn area with steps that lead to a parking space off the road at the top.

‘LIFE-CHANGING PRIZE’

Fowey is just 200 yards away via ferry or it is a short drive into a town centre.

St Austell and Bodmin, nine and 13 miles respectively, are also very nearby and a train into London Paddington takes just under four hours.

The surrounding area is ideal for outdoor activities including sailing, surfing, canoeing, water skiing, windsurfing, gig rowing, cycling and scenic coastal walks.

As well as making its grand prize winner a multi-millionaire – the Cornwall II House Draw will also support the end of life charity, Marie Curie, helping it provide care and support to people affected by terminal illness.

The money raised will help to fund frontline nursing and hospice care, a free support line and a wealth of information on all aspects of dying, death and bereavement.

Omaze has guaranteed a minimum donation of £100,000 and has a target of at least £500,000.

The draw is backed by Marie Curie ambassador Claire Richards, singer and member of pop group Steps.

Claire, 45, said: “This incredible house will be a life changing prize for one lucky winner – but more importantly – the money raised will help Marie Curie continue its incredible work supporting people at the end of their life.”

Matthew Reed, chief executive at Marie Curie, added: “We are delighted that Omaze shares our belief that everyone deserves the best experience possible at the end of life and has chosen to partner with us.”

Entries for the draw, which are available now at www.omaze.co.uk and cost as little as £10, close on May 1, 2023.

Whilst there is no limit to the number of entries, Omaze encourages and supports responsible participation.

It is important to note that this is a raffle and no matter how many times you enter, a win is not guaranteed.
