A FAMILY home has gone on the market for a pricey fee – and there’s a very colourful surprise in store for the new buyer.

The four-bed property in Golders Green, London will be sold for just under £1.7million.

It boasts a bespoke kitchen, off-street parking and a whopping south-west facing garden.

But in spite of those desirable features, the detached house won’t be to everyone’s taste.

Almost every room has been painted bright pink – with sideboards, sofas, tables, chairs and even ceilings all matching the vivid colour scheme.

In the living room, every feature bar a gold picture frame and a black television is the exact same shade of pink.

Soft furnishings, including curtains and pillows, complement the rosy hues.

The walls and ceiling of the dining room, as well as a radiator on a wall, have been painted in the same colour.

IT’S ALL ROSY

A bejewelled chandelier hangs overhead.

On first glance, a lighter shade has been used in the kitchen – although chairs, picture frames, blinds, shelves and tiles are all still bright pink.

However, when visitors turn to leave, they’ll be faced with a vast stripy pink and orange wall fitted with storage cupboards.

The enormous master bedroom is slightly more sedate, although the patterned wallpaper is rose-coloured and two glitzy chandeliers have been installed.

One little bathroom has been clad in fuchsia tiles from floor to ceiling.

Just two rooms appear to have been spared any touch of pink at all.

PINK TO MAKE THE BOYS WINK

An office fitted with rails of suits has been designed in tans and browns, and a gym area beside the garden is orange with a flagstone floor.

Agents at Moreland call the property “unique and conveniently located”.

The home is being sold for the first time in 70 years, they say.

“There is huge potential to expand the property to the side and the rear and to convert the loft space, subject to planning regulations,” agents said.

“The property has a bespoke kitchen, luxury fixtures and fittings throughout, as well as premium quality fitted wardrobes and cupboards.

“It was designed with incredible attention to detail with a hand-painted ceiling in the inner hall and mural in the conservatory, as well as a handmade stained-glass window in the kitchen.

FIT FOR A BARBIE GIRL

“One bedroom has a natural bamboo wall covering.”

Outside, the new owner will find a “secluded and private” garden with a lawn and covered seating area.

Not everyone will need such deep pockets to find their dream home.

One mum scored a £3.5million five-bed property in Ascot for just £10.

Becca Pott, 32, bagged the luxury property after entering a prize draw in support of Cancer Research UK.

Mrs Pott, husband Ben and their eight-month-old daughter Ava can now swap their two-bed flat in Leyton, East London, for the stunning pad after the “life changing win”.

Meanwhile, a lovely home in Hatfield, Yorkshire is on the market for less than £500,000 – and it’s got a nice surprise for the owner.

The “unique” house comes with its very own coffee shop.

Known as Coffee at No4, the café boasts a stunning courtyard garden and enough room for 24 indoor tables and another 20 outside.
