The Intel Wi-Fi support page read: “Three main factors impact the speed of your Internet connection—the placement of the router, the technology, and the devices that are connected to it.”
We’ve rounded up quick ways to solve issues with these factors below.
PLACEMENT
The placement of your Wi-Fi router at home is very important.
Keep it away from big obstructions like furniture and metal objects that can disrupt the signal.
Other gadgets that emit frequencies can disrupt your speed.
This includes baby monitors, Bluetooth speakers, and even microwaves.
Try keeping your router in a raised, clear, and central position in your home.
THE TECHNOLOGY
Sometimes, your Wi-Fi router is the gadget letting you down.

Intel says: “Be sure to talk with your Internet service provider to make sure you’re paying for the speed you need.
“Different providers offer different speeds, and you may not have the package that is the best fit for your connectivity needs.
It’s important to update your device with the latest software and security updates.
