A LOTTERY expert has revealed most commonly drawn numbers that could help boost your chances of winning an eye-watering jackpot.
WDW Bingo, an online comparison website, has scoured over thousands of draws over the past 30 years, revealing the balls that have seen punters land a jackpot.
Lottery.co.uk revealed that 39 is the most common winning number and has been pulled a whopping 367 times.
Coming in just below it are 23 and 27 and 40.
Each of those rolled out more than 350 times in jackpot-winning draws.
On the other end of the scale, the number 53 was found to be the most unlucky number- only being picked 75 times since 1994.
Other unlucky numbers include 55, 50, 59 and 57.
The research also found the 38, 48 and 6 to be the least drawn numbers.
WDW Bingo said: “While the National Lottery is played by millions across the UK and, in some cases, Europe.
“It’s expected that some people may question the ‘randomness’ of the pickings.

Winning the lottery is entirely by chance.
Lotto is drawn every Wednesday and Saturday night, with the chance to choose 6 numbers between 1 and 59.

It comes after winner revealed they felt “paralysed” after scooping the £50,000 top prize.
