A SAVY saving expert has revealed the best day of the week for Brits to do their food shop at Aldi.
Bargain hunter Tom Church, 31, says waiting until Wednesday every week could save shoppers big money.

Aldi is known for its already low prices, so any day you visit the budget supermarket, you’ll likely come across a good bargain.
But Tom says a Wednesday is the best day to shop because that’s when all the reduced prices are launched.
Speaking to The Mirror he said: “If you want to save more money, planning your shop for Wednesday can help you beat the crowds and bag some bargains before they’re all gone.”
Prices are dropped overnight, and shoppers often rush to their local Aldi early in the morning to nab the best deals.
But this isn’t the only opportunity to grab a bargain.
Every two weeks Aldi carefully selects six products to feature in its Super Six offer.
But as the deal is refreshed every two weeks, shoppers only have a short window to make the most of the offers until they are changed.
Aldi has its own version of yellow sticker bargains, too.

But in the budget supermarket they’re red, so you need to keep your eyes peeled if you were looking for discounted food labelled up differently.
Even without the heavily discounted items, Aldi was recently named the UK’s cheapest supermarket, according to The Grocer 33.
It’s a weekly comparison assesses the price of 33 items across all major supermarkets.
They overtook Lidl with a total cost of £46.78 for its items – £1.12 cheaper than Lidl, which finished second on the list.
