POPULAR grocery store Iceland is shutting its doors for one day over the Easter weekend.
Your local Iceland might have different opening hours over the bank holiday so make sure you check before going to the shops.
What are the Iceland Easter 2022 opening times?
Iceland has great offers over the Easter bank holiday to make sure your Easter Sunday roast does not hurt your wallet.
This includes a promotion of vegetables on sale for only 1p until the start of Good Friday.
Opening times vary across the UK with the majority of stores open 8am to 8pm but others close earlier – the Easter weekend is no different.
Good Friday
Stores across the country will open as usual on Good Friday.
Standard opening hours will be in operation meaning many stores will be open 8am until 8pm.
To check when your closest store’s opening hours are, use Iceland’s helpful locator tool that lets you look for your nearest shop by region.
Easter Saturday
On Easter Saturday, people hoping to pick up a last minute roast will be in luck.
Iceland will be open for its normal Saturday hours.
Outside of London this is usually 9am to 6pm, while London based stores might be open 8am to 8pm.
Easter Sunday
England, Wales and Northern Ireland stores (excluding Scotland) will be closed on Easter Sunday this year.
This means you cannot shop in store or get a delivery to your house on the Sunday.
Easter Sunday is similar to Christmas Day, meaning larger stores will close for the holiday.

Easter Monday
Business as usual will return on Easter Monday, with shops opening for their usual hours.
Hours are unlikely to be shortened for the bank holiday and deliveries are available.
Is Iceland doing home delivery over Easter?
Iceland is offering free next day delivery if your order totals over £35.
If your shopping comes a little under that then you will be charged £2 in addition to the £25 minimum spend that is required for any online orders.
The store does typically carry out deliveries on a Sunday, but with the supermarkets being closed for Easter, it won’t happen on Easter Sunday (April 17th).
The rest of the weekend has plenty of booking slots available including Good Friday and Easter Monday, you just have to check if the store delivers to your postcode.
The supermarket also offers a handy service where you can shop in store but have your groceries delivered home for you, so you don’t have to lug any heavy bags back yourself.
The service is also great if you have too much shopping to bring home on your own and you have to catch public transport.
If you spend over £20 in store then the service is completely free and will be delivered the same day.
