A LOTTERY winner has already made big plans after scooping a life-changing £500,000 jackpot.
The whopping windfall has been pocketed by a man – currently only known as Mr H – from Midlothian in Scotland.
But it has been revealed he intends to not only pay off his mortgage but also splash out on a family holiday to the USA‘s east coast.
The lucky winner took the top Thunderball prize on May 27, it has only just emerged.
Mr H, a project manager, cashed in thanks to a selection of random numbers via the National Lottery app.
While many hitting the lottery jackpot have gone public with their celebrations, this winner is staying anonymous – for now.
But lottery organisers were happy to give some details on his intentions for the six-figure sum.
Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at the National Lottery, said, “Huge congratulations to Mr H for winning this fantastic prize.
“He can now enjoy a once in a lifetime family holiday to the east coast of America.”
Individual success stories such as Mr H are not the only ones to benefit.
