AN average looking bungalow has gone on sale for £226,000 – but what’s hidden in the basement will haunt you.

At first glance the three-bed property in Maryland, US, is a decent bargain for $299,900 (£226,000).

However, prospective buyers will get more than they bargained for when they discover the terrifying secrets in the basement.

On the floor there is a drawing of a large pentagram – a widely recognised Satanic symbol.

Those viewing the property will also find the haunting basement is also home to dark figures scrawled on the walls.

The shady drawings are joined by a giant spider painted on one of the walls which is next to yet another eerie pentagram.
