A MOTHER has revealed the 50p Tesco essential she uses for drying clothes in winter.

Social media user, Kara, revealed her secret in a 33 second clip on TikTok.

Uploading to her account (@theonlywayis_pink), she explains that the most efficient way to dry clothes throughout winter is buy using the Tesco essential, which is listed as a 2 in 1 Keep It Handy Dehumidifier.

Also known as damp traps, this handy product helps to remove moisture and unwanted odours.

It also prevents mould and condensation from ruining your laundry and is ideal for use in conservatories and bathrooms.

Kara said: “They’re cheap enough to buy in most places and will suck all the moisture out of the air while you’re drying clothes indoors.”

Viewers soon flooded the comments section with shocked responses and were grateful for the handy tip.

The cleaning expert suggested some other top tips for helping to dry clothes quickly.

These include using the “drain & spin” cycle on your washing mashine and putting your clothes airer near a door or window where there’s sunlight.

Kira also advised people to not overload the airers and to hang clothing over two “bars” to let the air circulate.

Another hack to drying clothes is to hang your clothes drier over a stairs banister to catch the rising heat from below.

Another Mum has decided to take a small hanging air dryer and place it onto her curtain rail to help dry clothes quicker.
