A MAJOR supermarket has slashed the price of its large Easter eggs for a limited time only.
The cracking deal means that Tesco Clubcard holders can stock up on their favorite Easter chocolate for just £2.

The supermarket giant has now reduced the price of its large Easter eggs from £3 to £2, until March 5.
With 24 varieties to choose from including Cadbury, Aero and Bounty there is sure to be something for everyone in the family.
The offer is available both online and in stores, but it is subject to availability so you will need to be quick if you want to grab your favourite.
We checked the price of large Easter eggs in other retailers and most are still priced at £3.

Remember even if you spot a great deal it is good to shop around, as many supermarkets and retailers usually start to compete against each other the closer it gets.
You can check online prices by using comparison sites such as Google Shopping and Trolley.co.uk but bear in mind different deals could also be available in-store.
Shoppers are already looking to get stocked up and chocolate lovers have been tagging their friends in the Tesco Clubcard deal on social media.
One person said: “I need to get a trolley full.”

Meanwhile, some sweet-toothed shoppers have been left devasted after Mars confirmed one fan favourite has been axed from the Easter lineup this year.
Bounty lovers brace yourself, as it has been revealed that fans will not be able to get their hands on a Bounty dark chocolate bar which usually comes in the Easter Bounty chocolate egg box.
The Bounty chocolate egg box usually holds a hollow milk chocolate egg speckled with desiccated coconut and two fun-size Bounty bars, one of which used to be a dark chocolate Bounty bar.
However, much to the disappointment of fans, this year a smaller 207g chocolate box will hold a hollow milk chocolate egg and two milk chocolate fun-size Bounty bars instead.
It is the second heartbreak Bounty lovers have faced in the past year after the chocolate giant announced it was discontinuing the dark chocolate Bounty.
At the time Mars said the bar had been temporarily discontinued but the fan favourite has not been seen on shop shelves since.

Also if you have a big family and want to get a really cheap deal on some Easter chocolate it is worth heading to Morrisons.
The supermarket currently has a deal on offer where some eggs are scanning for just 75p at the tills.
How to save on your supermarket shop
THERE are plenty of ways to save on your grocery shop.
You can look out for yellow or red stickers on products, which show when they’ve been reduced.
If the food is fresh, you’ll have to eat it quickly or freeze it for another time.
