Hyperoptic’s Black Friday sale gets you an incredible 1Gbps broadband speed for just £40 a month

HYPEROPTIC’S Black Friday sale is now live and there’s good news for those in need of superfast broadband.

You can bag yourself a whopping 1Gbps internet speed from Hyperoptic for just £40 a month among the other offers.

Hyperoptic offers some seriously speedy internet for those who can get it in their area (find out if you can here).

And the provider has offered up a decent discount on its fastest internet package this November.

You can get the package which offers up to 1Gbps speed, with an average speed of 900Mbps, for just £40 a month on 12-month contract, which then reverts to £60 a month at the end of the discount period.

There’s also a £29 activation fee if you buy this offer.

This offer will run all the way through November and is set to end on December 2.

We’re not expecting to see any faster broadband deals this Black Friday, so if you’ve got a lot of hefty games to download onto your new PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X, this offer could be worth a look.

Hyperoptic’s other offers this Black Friday include 500Mbps broadband for £35 a month and 150Mbps broadband for £29 a month.

Other internet providers have also started to launch their Black Friday offers ahead of the main event.

Virgin has slashed the price on some of its most premium TV and broadband offerings, including it’s Ultimate Oomph bundle that includes superfast broadband, Sky Sports, BT Sport and much more for £79.99 a month.

When is Black Friday 2020?

Black Friday is on November 27 this year, the day after Thanksgiving in the US, which is always the third Thursday in November.

However, a lot of retailers like to start their sale early, including Hyperoptic, so you can start looking out for deals two weeks ahead of the big day.

When is Cyber Monday 2020?

Cyber Monday is the Monday following Black Friday and is traditionally focused on online shopping.

These days, especially in the midst of a global pandemic, there’s not likely to be a lot of difference between Cyber Monday and Black Friday.
