Humberside police continue investigation after reports of ‘concern for care of deceased’

Officers investigating a funeral directors in Hull have recovered 35 bodies and a “quantity” of suspected human ashes, Humberside police Asst Ch Con Thom McLoughlin has said.

Two people arrested in connection with the investigation into Legacy Independent Funeral Directors, which was sparked by reports of “concern for care of the deceased”, have been also been bailed, Humberside police said.
