YOUTUBE wants to become a one-stop destination for all your favourite TV and movies so you don’t have to go anywhere else.
The Google-owned app has revealed a massive new project that brings full length content from more than 30 major producers directly into YouTube.
It’ll make YouTube more like a cable or satellite bundle of the future.
Apple and Amazon have long offered something similar through their products.
Paramount, AMC and Showtime are among the roster of big name partners.
Of course, you’ll have to pay for the privilege.
But you can sign-up to any directly within YouTube to make life easier – and YouTube is hoping its massive user base will make the idea a success.
Primetime Channels, as the it’s officially called, will only be available in the US initially.
Once you’re onboard, each one will basically work like any other YouTube channel with its own homepage and videos, except you’ll get the premium stuff.
You can even post comments, like or dislike – but a view count won’t be on display.

Movies and TV shows have been available on YouTube for a while now, but not quite like this.
Until today, you could only pay to buy or rent individual titles and episodes.
YouTube said it’s working on getting other big name partners too, such as NBA League Pass “coming soon”.
“With more streaming options than ever before, it can get a little overwhelming jumping from app to app to find what you’re looking for,” the video sharing site explained.
“Well, that’s all about to change.”
