The life-changing prize was bagged by a single ticket holder in the Saturday, April 6 draw.

Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery, said, “We’re over the moon that this fantastic Lotto jackpot prize has now been claimed. Winning a Lotto jackpot is the stuff that dreams are made of, just imagine the possibilities for this lucky ticket-holder with a whopping £7.5M ready to help turn their dreams into reality.

“We will now focus on supporting this latest Lotto jackpot-winning ticket-holder through the process and helping them start to enjoy their truly life-changing win.”

Saturday night’s draw also saw one lucky player match five main numbers and the Bonus Ball to win £1million.

The Lotto jackpot prize claim now has to go through the validation process to make sure the Games Rules Terms and Conditions were followed.

If the win is valid, the player will be handed their huge cheque at a meeting with one of Allwyn’s Winners’ Advisers.

The ticket holder can decide whether or not to go public.

It follows the first Lotto draw of the month on April 3 which also saw the same £1million jackpot scooped by another single ticket-holder.
