The only catch is that you can only use one voucher per each pair of new shoes.

Schuh’s small print says: “Customers handing in a pair of unwanted used shoes into a Schuh store will receive a £5 Schuch voucher to spend in UK stores or online.

“Vouchers can be redeemed against full price items over £25 only.”

Plus this Secret Schuh discount website lets shoppers snap up shoes by brands including Adidas and Converse for up to 70% off.

However, you can’t redeem the vouchers on the outlet.

Schuh has nearly 200 establishments in the UK, with London leading the way, followed by Glasgow and then Sheffield.

The first store opened in 1991 in Edinburgh.

Schuh specialises in selling branded footwear, from the likes of Uggs and Doc Martens, all the way to Nike and Adidas.
