SHOPPERS are racing to Schuh to nab a £5 voucher after discovering the store hands out discounts for recycling old shoes.
The footwear retailer gives away vouchers to anyone who brings in a pair of shoes – no matter where they were bought.
Eagle eyed shoppers have been sharing the deal on Facebook, which claims to give people £5 for every pair of worn shoes they bring in.
Posting about the offer in group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, Chelsea Roberts said: “Don’t know if anyone knows this but if you take ANY unwanted shoes to Schuh they’ll give you £5 to spend in their stores.
“The shoes don’t have to be from Schuh, they can even be from Primark.”
Dozens of people have liked the post online, and are digging out their worn out trainers to part-exchange for a new pair.

“Did this on Saturday,” Another footwear fan said in the group.
“If you take old shoes with you, they do it on the spot.”
“It’s a great way of getting rid of old shoes I hate chucking them in the bin!” a third penned.
“But had no idea that they did this, could’ve made a fortune.”

The only catch is that you can only use one voucher per each pair of new shoes.
Schuh’s small print says: “Customers handing in a pair of unwanted used shoes into a Schuh store will receive a £5 Schuch voucher to spend in UK stores or online.
“Vouchers can be redeemed against full price items over £25 only.”
Plus this Secret Schuh discount website lets shoppers snap up shoes by brands including Adidas and Converse for up to 70% off.
However, you can’t redeem the vouchers on the outlet.
Schuh has nearly 200 establishments in the UK, with London leading the way, followed by Glasgow and then Sheffield.
The first store opened in 1991 in Edinburgh.
Schuh specialises in selling branded footwear, from the likes of Uggs and Doc Martens, all the way to Nike and Adidas.
