What is the AI filter?
There are various AI filters that have been popping up recently.
Many are a twist on the AI image generators you can easily find online for free.
Instead, the TikTok ones allow you to do it directly within the TikTok app.
Filters have come and gone pretty quickly, but there are still some about.
For example, there’s one called AI Painter and another called AI Manga.
How to do the AI filter effect?
To use an AI filter on TikTok, simply open the app and tap bottom centre + icon.
Most read in Tech
Tap on Effects.
Then select the magnifying glass.
Type “AI filter” and see what’s available.
Once you’ve seen one that takes your fancy, tap it.
The camera will switch on.
Pose and tap the screen to take a photo.
It’ll then transform your image into something else entirely.
