How can I get Covid vaccine sticker on TikTok?

TikTok users who want to celebrate receiving their Covid vaccine can add a sticker to their videos.

When uploading your clip, there will be a sticker icon in the edit window.

Once you’ve chosen the Covid vaccine sticker, you can pin it to where you want it in the frame – plus how big you want it.

The “duration” option also allows you to decide how long you want the sticker to feature in the video for.

How can I get Snapchat Covid vaccine filter?

Snapchat has introduced a range of stickers as well as a filter for people who have had the jab to use.

Once you’ve taken your picture or clip in the app, click on the sticker icon and type in “vaccine” into the search bar, and a range of stickers will come up.

Simply click on the one you want to use and you’ll then be able to make it the size you want and place it wherever you want on your snap or video.

The filter can be found in the same way as other ones, by holding the camera in a selfie position and pressing down on your face on the screen.

Available filters will pop up along the bottom and you can scroll along to find the NHS Covid vaccine filter.

Other features can be found by tapping the magnifying glass in the top left hand corner and typing in “vaccine”.

Later this month, UK users of Snapchat will also be able to use an augmented reality lens that will read: “I’ve had my vaccine”.

The platform is also hosting a series of question and answers with medical experts on the Prime Minister’s Snapchat account.

Snapchat has also expanded its “Here For You” feature which provides in-app resources to people looking for more information around health, mental health and wellbeing.

When users search for “Covid-19”, “vaccine”, “NHS” and “vaccination”, they will have access to NHS resources on the vaccine they can read up on.

Who else is involved in coronavirus jab push?

As well as Snapchat and TikTok, YouTube and Reddit have also joined the Covid vaccine drive.

In collaboration with the NHS, YouTube has rolled out a video campaign with the tagline “Let’s Not Go Back”.

The aim is to remind its core audience of 18 to 34-year-old of the importance of being vaccinated by relating to their personal experiences during lockdown.

Meanwhile Reddit has hosted two live “ask me anything” sessions on its coronavirus forum, and will continue to hold question and answers over the coming weeks.

Health Secretary Matt Hancock said: “With the offer of the vaccine now extended to all adults in England, we are leaving no stone unturned to boost uptake and encourage everyone to get the jab when eligible.

“I am delighted that Snapchat, Reddit, TikTok and YouTube – some of the most influential social media platforms – are coming together to support the biggest and most successful vaccine effort in NHS history.

“We’re accelerating our vaccine programme on the road to recovery and I urge everyone to come forward for the offer, roll up their sleeves and join the millions that already have the fullest possible protection from two doses.”

Facebook and Instragram have been involved in the social media campaign for several months, with users able to update their profiles with a range of specially-designed profile frames and graphics.
