AS the cost of living crisis continues to pinch purses, shoppers are itching to get their hands on quality beauty products for a fraction of the price.

And a trip to your local Body Shop outlet might just be the answer – especially if you’re looking to overhaul your skincare routine.

The Body Shop has long been known for its body butters, soaps and vegan make-up products.

But its facial skincare ranges have become increasingly popular with beauty fanatics

That includes its Drops Of Light collection, designed to “help skin look its healthiest”.

One shopper found the brand’s Drops Of Light Serum at its Gunwharf Quays outlet store in Portsmouth.

Originally costing £32, Kellie Evie Marie picked it up for just £4.50.

Products from the range had been slashed to a fiver in the store, which was also offering a further 10% off.

She posted the bargain in Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK.

“Fab range if you have skin blemishes and dark circles under the eyes,” a Body Shop consultant commented.

“If you have reddening skin patches this is the range to use,” another viewer penned.

Other Body Shop outlets offering big discounts on facial skincare products are Wembley in London, Swindon, Bridgend near Cardiff, Cheshire Oaks and York.

“As you might know, we use nature-inspired ingredients in our facial products,” Body Shop bosses said.

“Get your hands on our range of moisturisers, toners, cleansers and exfoliators, and put together a morning and evening skincare routine to help you get your happiest, healthiest-looking skin.

“Dealing with dry skin, sensitive skin, or skin prone to ‘having a moment’?

“Our ranges cover face care for all skin types, so you can tailor your routine to help purify oiliness, nourish and revitalise skin or target blemishes.”

The formulations of the make-up and skincare at The Body Shop are all natural and vegan.

Even packaging is environmentally friendly and sustainable as possible.

Normal stores recently slashed a number of their Lemon range products to just £1, with one face wash costing £12 originally.
