Tesco sells large pumpkins for £1.75 each.

Aldi has medium pumpkins on shelves for 79p or extra big ones for £4.99 – remember you can’t get food delivered from there.

And for more choice, Asda sell them for £2 and Sainsbury’s sell them for 95p, so make sure you search around for the best deal.

Do note you won’t be able to claim this offer if you’ve ordered online, so make sure to search the store’s locator tool so you don’t have to trek to find it.

After you’ve bought your pumpkin, take a photo of the receipt with the date clearly visible along with the shop name and payment method.

You’ll need to upload it here if you’re an existing customer – it should take you to the correct place automatically if you’re just signing up.

The deadline to claim is 31 October at 23:59pm – so don’t be late.

The £2 cashback claim will sit in your account for 14 days after the receipt is accepted before expiring.

More deals

There are plenty of ways shoppers can combat costs during their weekly supermarket run – from yellow sticker bargains to schemes and grants that offer the most hard-up a helping hand.

For example, Tesco has little-known weekly offers called “Weekly Little Helps” that change each week.

Some lower prices are only available for Clubcard members, but this is usually clearly stated on the Tesco website.

For example, at the moment, Tesco has Pizza Express pizzas for £2.75 for Clubcard members, instead of £5.50 usually.

These deals are available both online and instore, but be aware that online orders carry a delivery charge and a £4 fee if your order comes to under £40.

You can check Tesco’s website each week to see what’s included.

Tesco introduced Clubcard Prices in 2019 where prices are discounted in store and online for members only.

To find the best discounts, all products included in Clubcard Prices in store will be marked with a promotion label.

Offers will also be highlighted for shoppers buying online.
