BRITS can start their day off with a kick and get a free hot drink from Caffè Nero on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

However, you have to be an O2 customer to get the deal, and you’ll have to order your drink after 10am.

You can pick up an Iced Latte, Iced Americano, Latte, Cappuccino, Americano, Espresso, Flat White, Cortado, Mocha, Hot Chocolate or Tea under the deal.

All other drinks, including speciality drinks, and any extras you add to your order are also not included in the offer.

We’ve rounded up the list of hot drinks on offer and how much you could save too below.

To get the deal, you have to be an O2 customer and you’ll have to download the Priority app

What hot drink can I get for free under the deal?

THIRSTY Brits in need of a boost can get a free hot drink at Caffè Nero on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

But not all hot drinks are available under the offer.

Here’s the range of bevvies on offer – and how much you’ll save according to prices from Menu With Price:

  • Iced Latte: £2.70
  • Iced Americano: £
  • Latte: £2.35
  • Cappuccino: £1.95
  • Americano: £2.05
  • Espresso: £1.55
  • Flat White: £2.60
  • Mocha: £2.50
  • Hot Chocolate: £2.50
  • Tea: £1.80

The Priority app offers O2 customers offers including deals from high street brands.

It’s free to download from the App Store or Google Play, or you can text PRIORITY to 2020.

Then, head to the app and the deal should be under the offers section.

You’ll need to tap on “Use Now” to reveal your code within 25 minutes of ordering your bevvie at Caffè Nero.

Then show the code to the barista, who will knock the money off and give it to you for free.

You’ll only be able to use the code once a week, and you can still get your Caffè Nero loyalty card stamped when you’ve ordered your drink.

We’re not sure when the deal will run out, so we’ve asked O2 for more information and we’ll update you as soon as we know more.

If you think you’re likely to lose your loyalty card, you can also download the Caffè Nero app which logs your stamps too.

You’ll get one free coffee for every nine bought – so the 10th one is on the house.

The offer is available at participating Caffè Nero stores, so it’s best to check ahead with your local branch to see if the deal is on there.

You can find out where your nearest branch is using the coffee chain’s store locator tool on its website.

If you’re not an O2 customer, don’t worry – there’s a loophole that means you can still get the deal.

All you need to do is order a Pay & Go O2 SIM card, pop it in your phone and activate it.

After that step you’ll have to connect to WiFi and download the free O2 Priority Moments app.

Deals and freebies tend to update on a weekly basis, so just insert the SIM when you want to check.

When you head to Caffe Nero, you won’t be able to drink your coffee inside, as cafes have only been allowed to serve takeaways through the latest Covid lockdown.

But on May 17, cafes – as well as other hospitality venues like bars and restaurants – will be able to let customers sit indoors under Boris Johnson’s roadmap out of lockdown.

In a separate offer, O2 customers can also buy one coffee and get another free until March 28 – only on Saturdays and Sundays.

Again, head to the Priority app where there’ll be a code to get the second coffee for free.

The same drinks are available under this deal as the previous one.

If you’re not an O2 customer, you can still get a caffeine fix for free at other chains.

McDonald’s is flogging free coffees or hot drinks to new app users.

To get the deal, you need to download the McDonald’s app onto your phone.

Head to the deals section of your app, where the offer should be after you’ve created a new account.

Pret A Manger is also giving away free coffees for a month – but you’ll have to sign up to its subscription service, which launched in September, first.

You’ll have to fork out £20 a month to subscribe and you can get up to five drinks per day under the service – as long as they’re purchased half and hour apart from each other.

We explain how to get freebies on your birthday, including doughnuts, prosecco and luxury beauty products.

For more discounts, we round up retailers, including Boohoo and PrettyLittleThing, that will give you money off if you recycle old clothes.
