But you’ll have to spend £15 first to get the money off with McDonald’s latest deal.

You can get the “Spend £15, Save £5” offer at any of McDonald’s more than 1,000 branches across the country.

You can’t get this deal if you’re ordering online, instead there’s a separate offer of 20% off your delivery order through the MyMcDonald’s app.

You won’t get that deal if you order McDonald’s for home delivery through UberEats or Just Eat.

Maccies offers regular deals, usually every Monday, like a breakfast McMuffin for 99p – a saving of around £1.

But the latest deals from the fast food giant give you money off any food or drink items, from the breakfast menu or usual burger lune-up available after 11am.

To get the Spend £15, Save £5 deal you’ll still have to order via the MyMcDonald’s app, which is free to download, but you’ll only be able use it when picking up oyur order in store.

There are some locations where you won’t be able to use this deal and you can find them listed on McDonald’s website here.

You’ll also find the 20% off discount in the deals section of the app and this will apply to orders that are for delivery only.

The discount won’t apply to the delivery fee, tips or bag tax, plus there are some branches excluded from the offer too.

With the £5 off deal it means you could get two large Quarter Pounder with cheese meals costing £6.79 each and a £1.59 McFlurry for £10.17 instead of £15.17.

The same order with the 20% of deal would be around £3 cheaper at £12.14 – but you’d have to pay delivery fees on top too.

How much they are can vary depending on you locations as can menu prices, plus there may be a minimum order amount when buying online for delivery.

The £5 off deal gives you a cheaper price on an order of that amount, but you can use the 20% off deal when ordering less than £15 of food and drink.

If you’re spending more than £15 it’s worth comparing which offers the better discount, not forgetting the fees, for instance on £30 of food you’d save £6 with 20% off.

The deals will be available from Monday January 17 for Blue Monday, which is known as the most depressing day of the year, and will last until Friday January 21.

Meanwhile McDonald’s fans are furious about a menu item still missing despite promises that it will be back in January.

The vegan McPlant burger is now a permanent fixture on McDonald’s menu at every single one of its UK branches.
