ALDI is offering a discount exclusively on Deliveroo that means you could save £10 on your groceries.

You have to use the code ALDI10 at the checkout to redeem, but the offer only works for new Deliveroo customers.

If you don’t have an account already with Deliveroo then you have until the end of the month to sign up and redeem the code because it expires on April 30.

Aldi is exclusive to Deliveroo so you won’t find the store or the deal on Just Eat or Uber Eats.

There is a minimum order of £20, so anything under that will mean you’ll have to pay up to £5 on top of your groceries.

Delivery to your front door will cost an extra £4.50 plus a service fee which can be around 30p.

So if you add exactly £20 worth of groceries from Aldi to your Deliveroo basket and use the discount code your order will cost approximately £14.80 including the delivery fees and service charge.

Without the code it would otherwise cost you nearly £25.

It doesn’t matter what you order from the retailer but you can only use the code once and you can’t use any other codes at the same time.

The only restriction is on alcohol and where you have to show proof of ID, the code won’t work.

And there’s no limit on how much you order but if you’re doing a big shop and it’s over 35 items, Deliveroo may send out more than one rider.

You won’t have to pay any more for this, but there may be a delay in receiving the second part of your order.

The delivery can take from 15 minutes to around 40 minutes to arrive depending on how far you live from the nearest Aldi.

On Deliveroo you’re offered a whole range of items under the discount supermarket’s section including fresh British meats, fruit and veg, and milk and bread.

But the prices differ slightly to Aldi’s.

You can get a whole large chicken for £3.95 on Deliveroo but it will only cost you £3.29 to buy it straight from the supermarket.

But two pints of milk will cost you the same from Aldi as it will from Deliveroo – only 80p.

The deal was spotted on the UK Hot Deals forum where one member noted that there might be a better deal for returning fans of Deliveroo.

Jamie15 said that because this offer is for new customers only you would be “better to use APRIL10 for £10 off a £15 spend at all Deliveroo restaurants/grocery stores, including Aldi.”

It won’t save you any more money if you are new to Deliveroo as you’ll still have to spend £20 anyway on Aldi items to avoid the £5 minimum charge.

But this deal means that Deliveroo users already established with an account can cash in on the savings too.

Aldi has all sorts of products available at discount prices including a glitter gin for £13 thats cheaper than an identical M&S version

Some customers weren’t happy with the supermarket though, after waiting hours to purchase the sell-out egg chair that was supposed to go on sale yesterday morning.

But fans of the discount store did manage to snap up the cheap hot tub Aldi had on offer at the beginning of the month.
