THE nation has caught Euros fever, and millions of footie fans are set to watch England battle it out against Italy on Sunday’s final match.

If you’re looking to cheer on Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions from your local boozer, then you’ll want to know how to book a table.

It comes as The Sun exclusively revealed that pubs will be allowed to extend their opening times to 11:15pm on Sunday night in case the final goes to extra time and penalties.

We’ve rounded up all the latest booking information on how to bag a table at Wetherspoons, Young’s, Greene King and more.

However, as demand for tables is extremely high and pubs still have to keep to social distancing rules, there will be limited places available.

Pubs bosses have been begging the PM to lift Covid rules so they can pack more punters in and claw back lost sales due to the pandemic.

You’ll still have to wear masks when not at your table – and you won’t be able to order a pint at the bar.

Many pubs are fully booked up for the match – much to the disappointment of football fans.

Many reported on social media that they couldn’t find a place at a pub anywhere for the finals – even before England had played its semi final match.

Make sure to check ahead with your local to avoid making a wasted trip.

Wetherspoons

‘Spoons has 870 pubs across the UK, but unfortunately, most won’t be showing the big game on Sunday.

Pubs that do have TVs only have small ones – but they can show the match if they wish to do so, the chain confirmed.

To find out where your local branch is, use the pub’s branch locator tool on its website – and you can get in touch with your nearest one to see whether it has a TV and is showing the game.

It’s not the first time Wetherspoons hasn’t been showing live sport in its bars.

It said it wouldn’t be screening any games in June last year, when pubs were allowed to reopen following the first Covid lockdown.

You also can’t book a table at Wetherspoons – the chain operates a walk-in policy only, which means you may have to wait for a table to become free.

Greene King has 1,700 boozers across the UK, and will be showing the final across most of its pubs.

It has a dedicated Euro 2020 page on its website punters can visit to find out which pub near them is screening the game.

Simply type your postcode or town into its pub finder tool to find out which branch to head to in order to watch the match.

You can also use this tool to book a table at your local branch.

Alternatively, you can ring up and see whether there’s any space left.

However, Greene King confirmed to The Sun that some pubs will already be fully booked up, but some have tables available.

It’s best to check ahead with your local branch to see whether there’s enough room to watch the game.

Marston’s

There’s around 700 Marston’s pubs located around the UK, and you’ll be able to watch the finals in most of them.

The chain confirmed to The Sun that while tables have booked up very quickly, managers will look to fit in as many guests as possible in line with Covid restrictions.

Pubs are also taking walk-ins, so if you’re willing to chance it, you might find that you could bag a space in time for the game.

But it’s best to book a table to avoid disappointment.

You can find out where your nearest Marston’s pub is using the chain’s branch locator tool on its website.

Your local pub will be listing information about whether it’s showing the Euros game – or you can phone up or check social media channels.

Young’s

Young’s has 273 pubs, and will be showing the finals at most of them.

However, the chain has warned that all tables are fully booked – so your chances of seeing the match here are slim.

We’ve asked whether Young’s will be accepting walk-ins if punters cancel their table at the last minute – we’ll update you when we have more information.

You can find out where your nearest pub is using Young’s pub locator tool on its website.

O’Neill’s

O’Neill’s will be showing the historic match in pubs across the country.

However, you should book ahead to secure a table – although when The Sun checked at a number of pubs, we were unable to reserve one.

But the chain says on its website that it has kept a number of tables at its pub available for walk-ins to watch the match.

It says to arrive early on the day to avoid missing out.

Every pub-goer must check in with the NHS Covid app to get a pint.

This also means that pub-goers will be told to book a test immediately if they sit near Covid drinker in a pub.

Here are the best deals supermarkets and chains are offering to celebrate the Euros.
