Staff are entitled to 21 days holiday per year which rises to 30 after 25 years of service.

Greggs also offers a pension scheme, life assurance after one year of service and up to the age of 65, and childcare vouchers through the salary sacrifice scheme.

Other salary sacrifice schemes on offer to employees, where they donate a portion of their pay for the service, include the Government-approved Cycle To Work scheme and the Simply Health Cash Plan.

Everyone who works for Greggs can take advantage of local and national discounts on everything from gym membership to car insurance, mobile phone contracts, and restaurant offers.

There are also two share schemes in place for employees after a year of service.

The Save As You Earn (SAYE) scheme allows employees to buy shares of Greggs at a discounted rate.

The Share Incentive Plan (SIP) means staff can buy a shares plan using a one-off lump sum, rather than pay monthly through SAYE.

How do Greggs reward their employees?

In March each year, 10% of Greggs’ profits are shared between staff.

However, there are some rules around the scheme.

Greggs describes the scheme as a way to “share in the success of the business.”
