Searches for Chadlington homes for sale have climbed 373 per cent compared to a year ago following the latest series of Clarkson’s Farm.
The increased interest in the village – where the series is set – follows a similar rise in 2021 after the first series launched, when sale searches for the Oxfordshire spot rose 511 per cent.
The data from Rightmove shows the average asking price for a home in the postcode area of Chadlington is currently £518,702.

Between June 2021, when the first season of Clarkson’s Farm launched, and March 2023, the average asking price for a home in the postcode area of Chadlington has increased 7 per cent.
However, of the five properties listed online for sale on Rightmove, three have been reduced in price – despite the lure of potentially being the neighbour of the popular TV host.
It suggests that people searching for homes in the area may be simply window-shopping to take a look at what is for sale rather than being committed buyers.
The village featured heavily in Clarkson’s Farm season two, with Jeremy Clarkson apologising to residents during a Q&A for calling them morons.
Clarkson arranged the Q&A for disgruntled locals in the village of Chadlington, who have been unhappy with the impact of his farm and farm shop on the area of outstanding natural beauty.
Tim Bannister, of Rightmove, said: ‘Many of us will have watched Clarkson’s Farm and imagined what our life could be like if we relocated to the countryside or opted for a lifestyle change.
‘The countryside still has a real pull with home-hunters, as ‘acre’ ‘rural’ and ‘land’ are still some of the most popular keyword phrases that people use when searching for their next home.’
