Is Homebase open over the Easter Bank Holiday?
Fans of Homebase will be relieved to hear that opening hours will not be affected across the majority of the Easter Bank Holiday.
Homebase stores will remain open on Good Friday and Easter Saturday between 8am and 8pm.
All stores will be closed on Easter Sunday in the UK, Wales and Northern Ireland, as by law stores over 280 square metres in size must not operate on this day.
Shops will reopen on Easter Monday, where they will be open from 8am to 7pm.
Stores will remain open in Scotland on Easter Sunday however as there are no trading restrictions there.

Are shops closed over the Easter Bank Holiday?
Because of rules set out by the UK government, stores over the size of 280 square metres must shut their doors for the day to observe Easter Sunday.

This means that major supermarkets such as Tesco, Morrisons and Asda will remain closed on this day.
However, because of no trading restrictions in Scotland, stores will be open as usual on this day.
Stores that are under 280 square metres in size are classed as small shops, and are allowed to be open on this day.
Because of this, smaller stores run by supermarket chains, such as Sainsbury’s local are allowed to operate on this day.
Retailers with small shops have no obligation to observe Easter Sunday, but may choose to to give their employees some time off work.
