An eagle eyed shopper spied the 330ml bottles in their local store and was thrilled at the price.

Posting to HotUKdeals, they said: “Found these Nanny State for 10p in Home Bargains, Cardiff because they’re expiring.

“They had a whole trolly full of discounted booze!”

The bottles had been reduced from £1.39 – a whopping 93% off.

Fellow bargain hunters were quick to comment on the post and make plans to head to their nearest Home Bargains to bag some.

One shopper said: “Amazing deal. Thanks!”

And another wrote: “None in my Home Bargains (Tonbridge) but a great deal! Keep posting!”

Brewdog’s Nanny State alcohol-free beer is perfect for Dry January as its alcohol content is just 0.5%.

The beer is made from speciality malts and North American hops.

We checked online to see if we could find this particular beer for sale elsewhere.

While we couldn’t find any bottles, Aldi is selling four 330ml cans for £4.49. This works out at £1.12 per can.

Online supermarket Ocado is selling for the same pack for £5, or £1.25.

This makes the deal at Home Bargains the cheapest by far.

Unfortunately you won’t be able get the deal online but it is available in stores.

Although do bear in mind that when prices are reduced by this much it’s usually in order for stores to clear excess stock, so prices and stock will vary from store to store.

In this case it looks like it is a simple barcode difference which resulted in this hefty discount.

It’s always best to phone ahead to your local shop to check what they have available to avoid disappointment.

You can find your nearest Home Bargains store using the locator tool on the website.

It always pays to compare prices so you know you’re getting the best deal.

Prices can also vary day to day and by what deals are on at the time, plus remember you might pay for delivery if you’re ordering online.

You can compare prices on platforms like Google Shopping.
