But what about Home Bargains? Here’s everything you need to know.

What are Home Bargains opening times over the May Bank Holiday?

Home Bargains is a chain of discount stores across the UK, operating over 500 branches and employing more than 22,000 people.

Most stores open from 8am on weekdays and from 11am on Saturdays and Sundays.

During Bank Holidays, however, opening hours can change from normal.

A Home Bargains spokesperson told The Sun some stores’ opening hours may differ to the above over the Bank Holiday.

They recommended using its store locator to find out what time your local branch might be opening and closing on May 29.

The store locator website has been updated to include special opening times for the May Bank Holiday.

For example, Home Bargains in Charlton, London, is open on May 29 from 9am to 6pm.

Meanwhile, Home Bargains in Perry Bar, Birmingham, is open from 9a to 6pm too.

What shops are closed over the May Bank Holiday?

Retailers’ opening hours will vary over the May Bank Holiday.

The vast majority of Sainsbury’s stores should be open on May 29, for example.

The majority of Tesco’s larger stores will be open from 8am to 6pm on May 29 too, while some will be open until 8pm.

However, most supermarkets and large high street chains have store locators on their website which you can use to find the opening hours for your nearest branch.

In most cases you just have to enter your postcode into the search bar and it will tell you what time that store is open and closed.
