When is Home Bargains open over the May Bank Holiday?

Home Bargains stores are typically open from 8am or 9am to 6pm or 8pm every day.

It hasn’t published a full list of its opening hours over the Bank Holiday weekend.

But when we used the retailers store locator tool on its website, it looked like the majority of its stores will stay open this Bank Holiday Monday.

However, opening hours may vary between branches, so if you are planning on visiting a shop, it’s worth checking your local branch.

The bargain shop chain has more than 500 stores across the UK.

Is Home Bargains delivering over the Bank Holiday?

If you want to avoid shopping in store, then you can order your haul online as usual from the Home Bargains website.

Home Bargains says you should contact them if your delivery hasn’t arrived after five working days from the date your order was placed.

But the retailer says that if you’ve ordered an item that’s due to arrive over the Bank Holiday, delivery timings might be affected.

Delivery costs from £3.49 up to £7.99 for large items – but this costs up to £11.99 if you live in the Channel Islands.

When are the Bank Holiday dates for 2021?

Here is the full list of upcoming 2021 Bank Holidays in England and Wales.

Dates in Scotland and Northern Ireland vary.

  • Monday, May 31 (Spring Bank Holiday)
  • Monday, August 30 (Summer Bank Holiday)
  • Saturday, December 25 (Christmas Day)
  • Sunday, December 26 (Boxing Day)
