When are the Bank Holiday dates for 2022?

By the end of 2022, Brits would have enjoyed NINE bank holidays.

It all kicked off with the Substitute New Year’s day holiday on January 3.

Brits then enjoyed a warm Easter weekend from April 15 (Good Friday) till April 17 (Easter).

Another bank holiday arrived short after – Early May bank holiday – on May 2.

The usual Spring Bank Holiday was moved moved from the end of May to June 2 – to fit the Platinum Jubilee festivities.

To celebrate the Queen’s 70 years on the throne, Britain threw a four-day nationwide party.

The next holiday is now on August 29 and Brits will once again be treated with hot and sunny weather.

After that, the UK starts preparing to enter the cold and winter months before they celebrate the last two bank holidays of the year.

Brits celebrate Boxing Day on December 26, and then they’ll enjoy another day off on December 27 since Christmas will be falling on a Sunday.
