HEINZ fans are distraught after learning one of the nations’ favourite sauces has been removed from shelves permanently.

The much-loved brand confirmed a popular flavour had been discontinued after confused Brits failed to find it in the shops.

It was revealed their Firecracker Sauce, loved for its BBQ and chilli flavours, was no longer available for elevating burgers and marinating meat.

Disappointed Heinz customers were sad to see the burst of flavour, with a kick, go.

Baffled shoppers expressed their desperate need for the condiment as it started to vanish from stores.

“Heinz Firecracker Sauce has disappeared entirely. It’s delicious,” wrote one.

“Does anybody know if Heinz still make Firecracker sauce in the UK,” asked another,

“Heinz Firecracker sauce, that’s a game changer with a fried egg,” penned one Firecracker fan.

Another commented: “Oo Heinz Firecracker sauce where have you been all my life,” when it was still available.

“I am obsessed with Heinz firecracker sauce I’m putting it on almost every savoury food I’m eating omg,” agreed a second.

One Brit even hailed the sauce as the “King of the Condiments”.

While someone else praised it as a Bolognese “game changer”.

“Heinz Firecracker Sauce is something special,” said another.

But, fans may be excited to learn of a Firecracker alternative stocked at M&S – their Naga Chilli Sauce.

One savvy shopper wrote: “Finally found a replacement for Heinz Firecracker Sauce, which seems to have disappeared off the face of the planet.

“Easy on the Naga and heavy on the Habanero, which makes for a great balance, highly recommended.”

And, the original Firecracker condiment is actually still available to buy from Amazon, although it comes at a price.

It could be in your cupboards again if you’re willing to fork out an eye-watering £9.99 per bottle.

This comes as Heinz have announced the imminent launch of a new creamy pasta sauce containing bizarre ingredient – and fans can’t wait.
