GREGGS has made several big menu changes and one of them has already caused an uproar.

And today it has launched two brand new products plus two new bundles for customers to feast their eyes on.

The two new items will be available in all Greggs stores across the UK from today (April 20).

While the two new bundle deals will be available through the Just Eat app from today too.

Greggs lovers will be able to get their hands on the vegan mexican chicken free-bake.

It’s been made with vegan chicken-free pieces, mixed vegetables and Mexican style tomato sauce.

Even though it’s just launched today, the bake has already divided shoppers’ opinion.

Taking to Twitter, one said: “Bring back the vegan steak beak and the triple cheese toastie though.”

While another wrote: “Nobody asked for this. Ever.”

But one said “omg” while another wrote “I knew it”.

Another newbie joining the Greggs menu from today is the raspberry muffin which comes with a raspberry flavored centre and raspberry pieces.

For those who order their Greggs via delivery app Just Eat, they’ll be able to get their hands on two new bundles.

The eight piece chicken feast comes with eight southern fried chicken goujons, two portions of south fried potato wedges and two portions of spicy BBQ chicken bites.

You’ll then be able to add four dips and cold drinks of your choice.

Finally, the 12-piece chicken piece starts contains 12 southern friend chicken goujons, three portions of southern fried potato wedges and two portions of spicy BBQ chicken bites.

Like with the eight piece bundle, customers can pick three cold drinks and five dips.

Fans will be able to pick up the new items from in store and through the app today (April 20).

Here’s the full list of changes and their prices:

  • Vegan Mexican Chicken Free-Bake, 426 calories – from £1.90 (price will vary depending on location)
  • Rasberry Muffin, 320 calories – from £1.25 ((price will vary depending on location)
  • 8-piece Chicken Feast, 1,965 calories – from £16 (price will vary depending on location and delivery costs)
  • 12-piece Chicken Feast, 2,640 calories – from £20 (price will vary depending on location and delivery costs)

The news comes just as the bakery giant revealed it would be opening 11 new stores including a drive-thru from next month.

The following locations will get new Greggs from next month:

  • Bradford, Rooley Lane (drive-thru) – May
  • Canary Warf Station, London
  • Cardiff, North Road
  • Colchester, Northern Gateway Leisure Park
  • Edinburgh, Castle Street
  • Forres, Scotland
  • Gatwick Airport, South Terminal
  • Peterborough, Serpentine Green

The bakery giant will also be opening further Tasty cafes at three city-centre Primarks in:

Greggs hasn’t confirmed the specific dates that these stores will open but said that they’ll take place over the next few months.
