Sarah Dines faced pressure from MPs, saying she would not comment ‘on speculation in the Guardian’

Ministers have come under increasing pressure to reveal whether they will ditch promises to implement major reforms made in the wake of the Windrush scandal.

Stepping in for the home secretary, Suella Braverman, the junior Home Office minister Sarah Dines faced pressure for answers from MPs across the house after telling the Commons she would not comment “on speculation in the Guardian”.
