GOOGLE has a warning for Android users and it regards the pay app.

The tech giant wants to avoid users panicking if they see a surprise transacation on their account in a certain situation.

You may see the transaction while adding a form of payment to the Pay app.

Google explains on its website: “You might see a small temporary authorization on your account from Google.

“This authorization checks that your card and account are valid.

“It won’t be charged to your balance and will go away soon.

“Most temporary authorizations are removed from your account within 48 hours.”

This transcation can appear after you’ve successfully added a card to Google Pay.

If you see any other transcations on your account that you haven’t authroized, it’s worth contacting your bank.

You can also contact Google about unathorized transcations.

Google says: “You may be eligible for a refund from Google for purchases that you believe are fraudulent.

You can try and claim your money back by filling out a form on the Google website.

The tech giant warns: “Filing a claim may cause the Google Account used to make this purchase to lose the ability to pay, either temporarily or permanently.”

If the suscpicious transaction has occured on the Google Play Store, you may need to be quick if you want your money back.

If the charges are fraudulent Google may refund the charge depending it is qualifying under its policies.

You only have 120 days to report the unauthorized charges.

“Google may give refunds for some Google Play purchases, depending on the refund policies,” Google said.
