The Clubcard scheme offers customers points when buying products or fuel which can redeemed for money off future shops.

Shoppers online who have spotted the Tesco deal can’t wait to snap some of the Easter eggs up.

One, tagging a Facebook friend, simply said “go, go, go” while another said they were looking to buy some “ASAP”.

Another said “need to stock up” while a fourth joked “I know where I’m heading”.

The next cheapest option after Tesco is Aldi which is selling the multi-pack for £1.99 in-store, then Morrisons where it’s £2.25 online.

Asda is selling the five-pack for £2.50 while Sainsbury’s has it for £2.50 as well, if you’ve got a Nectar Card.

Of course, factor in that if you want to buy the Creme Eggs from Tesco you’ll have to pay a delivery fee.

It’s not clear if the supermarket chain is selling the five-pack in-store as well so it might be worth calling your local branch to find out.

You can find your nearest Tesco store by using the store locator tool on its website.

And of course, remember to always shop around as you might be able to find a better deal elsewhere.

Product prices can fluctuate as retailers take them on and off sale and sometimes prices can be different in-store compared to online.

Retailers will likely ramp up their offers this weekend and into next week as Easter draws closer.

If you want to find out how much an item costs across different retailers online you can use price comparison websites like Trolley and Price Runner.

They both use databases of thousands of products on sale.

Iconic chocolates that have left shop shelves

Cadbury’s Dream Chocolate bar: The popular bar was discontinued in 2002, but was relaunched in 2019 under the new name ‘Cadbury White’.

Mars Delight Bar: Although it proved to be a firm favourite by sweet-toothed fans during its four-year stint in shops starting in 2004, by 2008 it was removed from shelves. Fans still long to see the treat make a return.

Nestlé’s Caramac chocolate bar: The one-of-a-kind bar had been in shops for over six decades, but was discontinued last year due to continual slumps in sales.

Milky Way Crispy Rolls: They were pulled from shelves in 2022, and fans were so distraught by the news that a petition was started to bring them back, which currently has more than 8,500 signatures.

White Maltesers: The white chocolate version of the popular snack had a strong run lasting 11 years, but falling sales saw them discontinued in 2014.

It’s not the first time in recent days and weeks shoppers have been left in a tizz over Easter egg-themed chocolates hitting shelves.

Asda customers couldn’t get enough of Cadbury Oreo mini eggs earlier this week on sale for £2.25.

The chain started stocking the sweet snacks in January, but some shoppers had only just started spotting them on shelves.

Meanwhile, B&M customers were buzzing after spotting a new Cadbury Twirl flavour hit shelves for just 29p earlier this week.

The limited edition mint-flavoured bar normally sells for 75p a pop but was being flogged at the massively discounted rate.

Shoppers were able to pick up four of the bars for £1 too – 25p each.

Cadbury recently launched two new and “indulgent” Dairy Milk flavours in a boost for chocolate lovers too.

The nutty praline crisp and caramel nut crunch flavours were both unveiled on Monday (March 18).

Cadbury fans were rushing to Amazon’s website over the weekend too to snap up giant boxes of Creme Eggs for just over £21.

Chocolate fans have been left in meltdown in recent months too after a number of popular products were axed.

Last November, Nestle discontinued its iconic Caramac bar after 60 years, with fans calling the move a “travesty”.
