IF you think a date is fibbing about their height a TikToker has revealed a cheeky iPhone trick to figure it out.
Though it may not go down too well.
As most people online dating will know, there’s nothing worse than someone claiming to be a certain height on their but turning out to be much shorter when you finally meet.
Keyboard Shortcuts, who has 1.5million followers on the platform, has advised people to use the iPhone’s Measure app.
The clever tech allows you to workout the length of just about anything.
Even potentially partners.
“make sure that the person’s entire body is in frame and you can measure exactly how tall they are,” she said.
Obviously, it’s not a very discreet option.
And it probably won’t make the best impression one a first date.
But it may deter catfishers who lie about their height.

The app is available on devices as old as the iPhone SE or iPhone 6S, so long as they are updated with iOS 12 or newer software.
Using the software iOS 14 or better can enable the iPhone to measure people’s heights just by aiming the camera at them.
But on older iPhones, you’ll need to angle the white dot to the top of the object you want to measure and click the + icon.
The app should already be on your iPhone among the likes of the Clock app, Calculator app and Compass app.
