Video game lovers have been hesitating over buying the latest Nintendo Switch OLED model which was released back in October 2021 over rumours that a Switch 2 could launch soon.

However, the latest speculation suggests that the yet-to-be confirmed gadget is now delayed until next year.

With that in mind, Amazon‘s latest deal seems to have triggered some shoppers to take the plunge.

“Thanks just purchased been waiting for price to come down,” one buyer wrote on HotUKDeals.

“Tempting but still not sure if I should wait for Switch 2 although that isn’t out until at least next year and no one knows solid specs on it I don’t think,” another wrote.

It appears Amazon has price matched The Game Collection which recently put the Switch OLED down to the same price.

Both are currently selling the console for £259.95.

Most other retailers have it priced at around £300, so it’s a saving of around £40.

It’s only available for the Neon Red/Neon Blue version of the Switch OLED.
