CHRISTMAS has come early for gamers as a much-loved post-apocalyptic role-playing title is completely free for a very limited time.

The game is the latest giveaway from the Epic Games Store this Christmas.

It usually costs £15.99.

But you don’t have long to get it for free – the offer expires at 4pm UK time.

The game in question is Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition.

For those who haven’t already played it, Fallout 3 is set in a retro-futuristic Washington, D.C., where you emerge from your vault in search of your father and the truth.

Fallout 3 was first released by Bethesda back in 2008 and won numerous awards.

The Game of the Year Edition includes all five of the Fallout 3 add-on packs.

“One of the finest games ever,” one user wrote.

“Saweeeeeet,” another said.

Another fan said: “One of very very few games I’ve played all the way through. Definitely worth your time.”

However, some bargain hunters were quick to point out that the Epic Games Store’s annual giveaway event featured Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition last year.

“Already had this,” one reacted.

“I grabbed this deal last year,” another wrote.
