SHOPPERS are rushing to Iceland to get their hands on an ice lolly based on iconic childhood sweet as the weather gets warmer.

Raindow Drops fans are rejoicing because the retro snack has made a comeback in the form of an ice lolly.
Eagle-eyed shoppers have spotted the new treat on the freezer shelves of Iceland and posted their find on Facebook.
One of the oldest treats, Rainbow Drops was first introduced before World War Two and has been a childhood favourite since.
The rainbow-coloured confectionery is made of sugar-coated puffed maize and rice.

The new spin on the popular treat has seen it transformed from cereal-type snack to a frozen dessert.
The new ice lolly hit supermarket shelves just in time as Saturday has been recorded as the hottest day of the year so far, the Met office said.
Brits who grew up with the memories of Rainbow Drops have shown excitement over the discovery.

Originally inspired by British Penguin biscuits, Tim Tams were launched by Australian biscuit manufacturer Arnott’s in 1964.
